Remarks The nickel cadmium batteries affected by this AD are not part of the original type design approval as awarded to Airbus. They were designed and manufactured under U.S. parts manufacturer approvals (PMA). For this reason, Decision 2019/018/ED applies and the FAA AD is applicable to aeroplanes registered in EASA Member States.
