Remarks The affected fuel filters are not part of the original type design approval as awarded to CFM International. They were manufactured under U.S. parts manufacturer approvals (PMA), held by Western Filter Corporation (Valencia, California, USA) and PTI Technologies, Inc. (Oxnard, California, USA). For this reason, ED Decision 02/2003 applies and the FAA AD is applicable to aircraft registered in an EU member state.
