Operational checks, as specified in this AD, could be conducted by the flight crew, provided that: • the Post Holder CAMO and the Post Holder Flight Ops of the AOC agree on the tasks being performed by the flight crew; • the operational checks are documented in the Operations Manual (usually temporary checks are included in an operational bulletin); and • the Competent Authority responsible for the oversight of the AOC/CAMO approves them as the method of compliance with this specific AD-required operational action. These actions are considered equivalent to the action statement used in the AD: ‘checked by the flight crew in a manner approved by the principal operations inspector’. |
