The affected windows are not part of the original type design approvals as awarded to Embraer S.A. They were manufactured under U.S. parts manufacturer approvals (PMA), held by The NORDAM Group LLC,, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA). For this reason, Executive Director Decision 2019/018/ED applies and the FAA AD is applicable to ERJ 170 and ERJ 190 aeroplanes registered in EASA Member States.
